We have partnered with GatewayC on their updated Myeloma Early Diagnosis course, available for all primary care professionals.

This course aims to increase GPs’ awareness of patients with suspected myeloma and support them to undertake the appropriate investigations and understand how to interpret the results.

This course supports GPs to:

  • Recognise common myeloma indicators, such as hypercalcaemia and renal dysfunction
  • Distinguish between concerning pain and common back pain in patients
  • Effectively monitor patients who have been diagnosed with MGUS
  • Confidently assess the need for referral in accordance with NICE Suspected cancer: recognition and referral. NICE guideline [NG12].

This course is free and offers one CPD hour, plus an optional one-hour Learning Event.
